The 2009 All Colorado Bluegrass Music Festival was a great success!!!!  The first Bluegrass Festival in Castle Rock Colorado was well supported by the Local community and the Bluegrass community within, and without the State of Colorado.  Bluegrass fans from Colorado traveled from all corners of the State to show their support for the unique brand of Bluegrass music offered by these 10 Colorado based Bluegrass Bands and their individual styles.  Extending beyond Colorado, out-of-state  attendees coming as far away as Illinios, Nebraska, Oklahoma, etc drove maNy miles and hours to see and hear Bluegrass music, Colorado style.

In speaking of these Bands, their high level of muscial talent was on tour-de-force display at the Festival.  It is amazing that, right here in Colorado, resides an awesone collection of home grown Bluegrass bands whose dedication to this American music tradition is unsurpassed.  They keep the fire burning for those who love this genre of music, and for those who come into the fold.  Once again, a round of applause for The Stanleytones, Palmer Divide, Lonesome Traveler, Halden Wolford and the Hi-Beams, The Ackermans, Kantankerous, Acme Bluegrass, Loose Cannon, Way Down Yonder, and Steel Pennies.

The Douglas County Fairground Events Center venue was the perfect place to hold this Bluegrass
Festival.  The amplified Barn stage where the "Big" show and Barn Dance was held.  The intimate
"Kitchen" room where Bands could be heard in a home like acoustic setting.  The campgrounds
where folks bring their Bluegrass instruments to join in circle jams with friends.
